Assessment Expertise...
reaching optimum conclusions
Assess Expert, Inc. provides depth of understanding regarding what drives criminal behavior. Of particular concern is addressing the challenging minds and actions of youth involved in high-risk behavior. Identifying the appropriate intervention is critical, as it can launch a youth into healing or destruction.
Dangerous behavior requires intervention. Research shows that punitive measures alone will only perpetuate a culture of increased violence. Understanding individuals and what drives behavior has been a conundrum since the beginning of time. However, over the last two decades, evidence-based practices have been implemented in the field of corrections, which prove that appropriate rehabilitative intervention efforts can effectively measure, and reduce dangerous behavior.
Youth Offenders create their own unique paradox. They are dangerous and their behavior must be addressed, yet they are also still developing adolescents (in need of correction and understanding).
A comprehensive psychosocial assessment, performed by an industry expert provides all of the information necessary to make the most informed disposition decision possible. Every available source of information (age, maturity, intellect, behaviors, history, family, community, etc.) is analyzed with not only the seasoned mind and approach of a 30-year professional, but further complimented by incorporating the data gathered from utilizing validated, evidence-based instruments.
